2023: Had a second strong season in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 11.95 in the 100 meters, 23.20 in the 200 and 53.30 in the 400. For his career, had best marks of 11.95 in the 100, 23.20 in the 200 and 53.21 in the 400.

2022: Had a strong debut in his first season with the program. Had best marks of 23.41 in the 200 meters and 53.21 in the 400. Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Fresno City College: Was a team captain. Made the school’s Dean’s List and earned the Torch of Excellence Award. Had best times of 23.78 in the 200 meters and 52.73 in the 400.

At Fresno Christian High School: Was a team captain and was on the school’s Honor Roll. Competed in football and track and field.

Personal: Son of Steve and Debbie Friesen. Majoring in computer information systems. Enjoys hiking, fishing, and working out. Lists racing at UCLA against some of the top schools in the nation as his most exciting experience in sports.
