Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had another good season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 22.12 in the 200 meters and 50.17 in the 400. Finished ninth as part of the 4x400 relay team at the NCAA Championships and earned second-team All-America honors. Finished 11^th in the 400 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships and 15^th in the 200. For his career, had best marks of 22.12 in the 200 and 48.75 in the 400. Earned a pair of second-team All-America awards, two conference championships and three All-West Region awards.

2023: Had a strong second season with the Golden Eagles. Had the team’s fourth-best time in the 400 with a best mark of 50.07. Finished 10^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the 400. Competed in one meet for Cal State LA's cross country team in the fall. Had an 8,000-meter time of 29:39.8 at the UCR Highlander Classic on Oct. 14.

2022: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Earned second-team All-American honors after being a part of Cal State LA’s 4x400 relay team that finished ninth in the nation. Was a CCAA champion in that event as well. Earned All-West Region honors as a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. Finished seventh in the CCAA in the 400. Had best marks of 22.31 in the 200 and 48.75 in the 400.

At Central Arizona College: Had best marks of 22.16 in the 200 meters and 48.93 in the 400. Was as National Society of Leadership and Success member and an NJCAA All-American.

At Cheyenne High School: Was a 2018 NIAA 400-meter champion.

Personal: Son of Lakisha Johnson. Majoring in journalism. Enjoys running and learning anything to further his knowledge of life. Lists winning state as his most exciting experience in sports.
