Biography

2024: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his third year with the program. Had best times of 22.59 in the 200 and 53.35 in the 400. Finished 21st in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the 200.

2023: Competed for a second season with the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 23.19 in the 200 meters and 52.71 in the 400.

2022: Made his Cal State LA debut as a freshman and had best marks of 23.82 in the 200 meters and 54.36 in the 400.

At St. Bernard’s High School: Competed in cross country, track and field and basketball. Was the Most Valuable Runner in track and field and earned Defensive Player of the Yearn honors in basketball. Was on the school’s Honor Roll for physics.

Personal: Son of Phil and Ronnette Curls. Majoring in physics. Enjoys reading. Lists progressing to conference for the first time as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he is excited to see what comes for him.
