Biography

2008: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt.
 
At James Monroe High School: Earned All-League and All-City honors three years in a row. Was the Defensive Player of the Year all three years. Was named the Rookie of the Year as a freshman and did not allow a goal on the freshman team. Team advanced to state championships four times and finished second twice.
 
Personal: Son of Jose and Priscilla Martinez. Majoring in civil engineering. Enjoys long beach walks, watching sunsets, whale watching and collecting Pokemon. Lists playing soccer in Barcelona, Spain as his most exciting experience in sports.
