2009: Had an outstanding season with the Golden Eagles to complete his two-year career with the program. Appeared and started in all 23 games. Played a total of 1,315 minutes. Had one goal and four assists for six points. Scored his first career goal, a game-winner, in a 4-0 victory over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 16. Picked up his first assist of the season on a goal by Federico Cino in a 2-1 win over Montana State Billings on Sept. 2. Also had an assist on a goal by Cino in the first half of a 2-0 win over Stanislaus State and had an assist on a first-half goal by Kristian Gaustad in a 2-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Nov. 1. Had his final assist on a goal by Aza Gomez in a 5-3 win over Cal State San Bernardino in a first-round NCAA playoff victory on Nov. 13. For his career, appeared in 38 games and started 28 times. Played a total of 1,903 minutes. Had one goal and six assists for eight points.

2008: Made an immediate impact for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 15 games and started five times. Played a total of 588 minutes. Contributed two assists for a total of two points. Assisted on Mickey Daly’s game-winning goal in overtime in the season opening 2-1 win at Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Also picked up the assist on the game-tying goal by Federico Cino in a 1-1 tie at Western Washington on Nov. 3. Made his first career start at Vanguard on Sept. 5.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Was one of the top players on a team that reached the semi-finals of the state championships in 2007. Earned first-team All-Conference honors both seasons.

At Sierra Vista High School: Earned first-team All-League honors as a junior and senior. Was the league Most Valuable Player as a senior. Competed in soccer, cross country and track and field.

Personal: Son of Mauricio and Beatriz Barrett. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys hanging out with friends, watching ESPN and riding bikes. Lists the unbeaten season at Mt. San Antonio College in 2007 when the team went 22-0-3 and advanced to the state semi-finals as his most exciting experience in sports.
