Box Score LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.'s baseball team didn't end its home schedule the way it wanted to Friday night.
The Golden Eagles honored 11 seniors in pre-game ceremonies, but then dropped their home finale to Cal State Dominguez Hills, 10-2, at Reeder Field. The Golden Eagles and Toros have split the first two games of their season-ending California Collegiate Athletic Association series.
The Golden Eagles (15-31, 13-24 CCAA) snapped a 15-game losing streak with a win on Thursday, but managed only four hits on Friday and were unable to score a run until the ninth inning. Cal State Dominguez Hills (22-25, 16-22 CCAA) collected 16 hits off five Cal State L.A. pitchers and scored two runs in the second, third, fifth, sixth and eighth innings.

David Armas, got the win on Thursday after pitching eight innings in his final start of the season.
Brennan Bernardino was masterful for the Toros and tossed seven shutout innings. He allowed only two hits, walked two and struck out eight. Tyler Mark pitched a scoreless eighth inning and Nick Wagner finished up in the ninth.
Bubby Rossman hit a home run and drove in three runs to highlight the Toro offensive attack. Danny Haley and Kamran Young each had three hits each.
Santhon pitched 4 1/3 innings for the Golden Eagles and gave up eight hits and five earned runs.
Chris Oropesa, Hawley, Meusborn and Jimenez combined to pitch the final 4 2/3 innings. Hawley and Jimenez each worked a scoreless inning.
After the Toros struck for two runs in the second and third innings, Rossman hit a two-run home run in the fifth to make it 6-0.
Cal State L.A. broke the shutout bid in the ninth inning. Sanchez picked up an infield single with two out,
David Trejo walked and
Trent Zaks reached on an infield single that deflected into the outfield to score Sanchez. Trejo scored on a wild throw to third base to make it 10-2.
Cal State L.A. will conclude its season with a doubleheader on Saturday at Cal State Dominguez Hills beginning at noon.
