2023: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Earned 2023-24 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and received a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. For his career, appeared in 17 games with nine starts. Played a total of 668 minutes. Had five goals and three assists for 13 points.

2022: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 17 games with nine starts. Played a total of 668 minutes. Had five goals and three assists for 13 points. Was tied for third on the team in goals and tied for third in points. Made his Cal State LA debut and scored the second goal in a 2-0 win over Concordia on Sept. 3. Had a goal and two assists in a 6-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Scored in the 65^th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 lead. Assisted on two straight goals from Anton Olofsson and Aidan Wait in an eight-minute span to make it 5-0. Scored the game-tying goal in a 1-1 tie at Chico State on Oct. 2. Scored the game-opening goal just 61 seconds into a 4-0 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 16. Had an assist on Carl Solli’s goal in a 1-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 27. Scored the game-winning goal in the 58^th minute of a 2-1 win over Sonoma State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament semifinal on Nov. 4. Was named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Made his first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 46 minutes of a 2-0 win at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 6. Played a season-high 59 minutes in a 3-0 win over Sonoma State on Oct. 14.

At Cerritos College: Was part of a conference, state and national championship team in his first year with the program and a conference championship team in his second season in 2021. Competed in a total of 37 games with 25 starts in two years. Had four assists.

At Alliance Gertz Ressler High School: Competed in soccer for one year as a senior and team reached the CIF playoffs.

Personal: Son of Martin Rodriguez and Malena Orduno. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys hiking. Lists winning the CCAA Tournament in 2022 and winning a national championship at Cerritos College as his most exciting experience in sports. Says he’s proud to be first generation student-athlete and comes from a family of four.
