2022: Returned to the program and was a big part of the pitching staff. Appeared in 15 games with five starts. Went 2-6 with a 6.75 earned run average and one save. Was fourth on the team in innings pitched with 37 1/3. Picked up his first win of the season with a scoreless inning of relief in a 2-1 victory over Chico State on April 2. Also got the win after six strong innings of a 12-9 victory over San Francisco State in the 2022 season finale on May 7. Struck out a season-high five in the game. Also went six innings and allowed only four hits and one earned run at Sonoma State on April 24. Picked up a save with a scoreless inning of relief in an 8-7 win at Biola on Feb. 19. For his career, appeared in 35 games with 15 starts. Had a 7-11 record and two saves with a 6.62 earned run average. Pitched a total of 106 innings and had 54 walks and 81 strikeouts.

2020: Returned from injury and was a key part of the pitching staff before the season was halted. Appeared in eight games with three starts. Had a 0-4 record with a 10.50 earned run average. Picked up the team’s only save of the shortened season. Had eight walks and eight strikeouts in 18 innings. Was fourth on the team in innings pitched. Pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 14. Pitched a scoreless inning to finish up an 8-4 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 15. Also pitched the final inning of a 9-7 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 16. Started the season with five relief appearances and finished with three starts. For his Cal State LA career, had a 5-5 record with a 6.55 earned run average and two saves. Walked 36 and struck out 51 in 68 2/3 innings.

2019: Led the Golden Eagles in victories with five in his first year with the program. Went 5-1 with one save and a 5.15 earned run average. Was fourth on the team in innings pitched with 50 2/3 and fourth in strikeouts with 43. Picked up his first win in relief after allowing one run over 1 2/3 innings of an 11-9 win over Colorado Mesa on Feb. 10. Picked up his lone save of the season after pitching the final inning with two strikeouts of a 10-7 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 17. Earned his first start and got his second win after allowing three earned run over four innings of a seven-inning win over Cal Poly Pomona on March 1. Improved to 3-0 after allowing eight hits and four runs over six innings of a 5-4 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 10 and tossed a complete game and allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings of a 5-2 win over Stanislaus State on March 16. Gave up just one earned run over six innings in a 9-3 win over San Francisco State to improve to 5-0 on March 29. Struck out a season-high seven in 6 1/3 innings at UC San Diego on April 20.

At Cerritos College: Was a utility player for the Falcons before becoming a big part of their rotation down the stretch of the 2018 season. Compiled a 4-2 record with a 2.68 earned run average with 50 strikeouts over 47 innings pitched.

At Kamahameha High School: Earned All-League honorable mention as a senior. Competed in baseball and soccer.

Personal: Son of Merrick Hee. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys the beach and off-roading. Lists being the No. 1 team in the stats in his sophomore season at Cerritos College as his most exciting experience in sports.
