Cal State LA Athletics

2022: Appeared in four games for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Went 0-4 and scored one run. Made his Cal State LA debut as a pinch hitter in a win against Montana State Billings on Feb. 5. Drew a walk and came around to score a run. Had a season-high two at bats in a win at San Francisco State on May 7. Earned 2021-22 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2022 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2021: Earned CCAA 2021 Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Warren High School: Earned the team’s Most Valuable Player Award with a batting average above .400. Graduated with a Distinguished Graduate Award for having a grade point average above a 3.0.

Personal: Son of Jose and Gabriela Lugo. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys playing baseball, traveling and working with Uber eats in his free time.
