2022: Was a key part of the rotation for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 13 games with six starts. Had a 3-1 record with an 8.72 earned run average. Pitched 43 1/3 innings with 39 walks and 41 strikeouts. Was third on the team in innings pitched and second in strikeouts. Made his Cal State LA debut and struck out a season-high nine over four innings of relief against Montana State Billings on Feb. 5. Made his first start and went five innings, allowing three hits and three runs over five innings at Cal State San Bernardino on March 27. Picked up his first win with five strong innings against Cal State East Bay on April 15. Allowed two hits and three runs. Recorded his second win with a season-long 6 1/3 innings against Sonoma State on April 23. Allowed three hits and four runs in an 8-6 victory. Got his final win after pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief in a 4-3 victory at San Francisco State on May 6.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Started both seasons with the Mounties. Was on a team that reached the California Junior College Final Four in 2018.

At Walnut High School: Was on a team that won a CIF Division 3 championship in 2017. Team also was a CIF runner-up in 2015.

Personal: Son of Terry and Mercedes Needham. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys dogs and cats. Lists winning the 2017 CIF championship in his senior year with the same guys he played PONY baseball with as his most exciting experience in sports.
