2008: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and concluded his two-year career with the program. Appeared and started all 22 games for the Golden Eagles and was second on the team with 1,961 minutes played. Had three goals and one assist for seven points. Earned Daktronics All-America honorable mention and first-team All-West Region honors. Also earned second-team All-Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Headed in a pass from Rufino Franco in the 85th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 2-2 tie at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 12. Also had a goal in a 7-1 win over Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 5. Had the first goal in a 4-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 26. For his career, appeared in 43 games and started 42 times. Played a total of 3,884 minutes. Had five goals and three assists for 13 points.

2007: Was one of the top newcomers for the Golden Eagles in 2007. Appeared and started in 20 of the team’s 21 games. Played a total of 1,923 minutes. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Contributed two goals and two assists for a total of six points. Scored the first goal of his Cal State L.A. career against Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Added his second goal of the season against Sonoma State on Sept. 7. Also picked up assists against Saint Martin’s on Aug. 23 and Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 16. Helped a defense that allowed only 22 goals all season and recorded seven shutouts. Team allowed one or fewer goals in 14 of the 20 matches he played in last season.

At Bergen, Norway: Competed in 20 matches for Norway’s Under-21 national team.

Personal: Son of Svein-Arne Hansen and Beathe Haagensen. Majoring in business. Enjoys films. Lists winning the Norwegian youth cup as his most exciting experience in sports.
