Biography

2008: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in his final season with the program. Appeared in 14 games and started 12 times. Played a total of 828 minutes. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and got his first start in a 2-1 win at Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Played a career-high 110 minutes in a 0-0 tie at San Francisco State on Oct. 12.

2007: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles.
 
At Long Beach City College: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2006. Earned first-team All-Conference honors twice. Was the team captain as a sophomore.
At Long Beach Wilson High School: Earned first-team All-Moore League honors as a junior and senior. Was the Defensive Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior and won the Coaches’ Award as a freshman. Team won a CIF championship in 2003.
Personal: Son of Gary and Marylouise Placko. Majoring in civil engineering. Enjoys listening to music and watching EPL. Lists playing at Cal State Fullerton and winning the CIF championship with Wilson High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
