2022: Had a productive season in his final year with the program. Appeared in 35 games with 16 starts. Hit .316 with 24 hits in 76 at bats. Scored 20 runs and drove in nine. Had a career-high five hits in six at bats in a win at San Francisco State on May 7. Scored a career-high three runs in the game. The five hits are just one shy of the program single-game record. Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in a win at Cal State San Marcos on March 6. Made his first career start and drove in a run against Montana State Billings on Feb. 5. Hit safely in 14 games and had six multi-hit contests. For his career, appeared in 61 games with 16 starts. Hit .287 with 24 hits in 76 at bats. Scored 22 runs and drove in 10.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2020: Made meaningful contributions for the Golden Eagles before the season was halted. Appeared in 10 games and was one of the team’s top defensive outfielders. Hit .200 with one hit in five at bats. Had one run batted in. Had a single and one RBI against Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 23. For his career, appeared in 26 games for the Golden Eagles. Hit .091 with one hit in 11 at bats. Scored two runs and drove in one.

2019: Appeared in 16 games for the Golden Eagles in his first season with the program. Played flawless defense in the outfield. Had six at bats for the season and scored a pair of runs. Also drew a pair of walks.

At Cerritos College: Hit .270 with three home runs, 21 runs scored and 22 RBI. Won a Gold Glove as a centerfielder as a sophomore. Team won a conference championship.

At Kamehameha School: Team won a league title during his junior season and placed third in the state. Earned All-League honorable mention.

Personal: Son of Joe and Elizabeth Penzetta. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys lifting, bodyboarding and playing other sports. Lists hitting a walk-off single against LA Pierce in a regional playoff game during his sophomore season as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes his father played minor league baseball in the Giants’ organization with the San Jose Bees.
