Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Had best marks of 4:35.91 in the 1,500 meters and 17:41.41 in the 5,000 in outdoor track. Finished seventh in the 1,500 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association  Championships and 14th in the 5,000. Also ran well dring the indoor season. Had a best mark of 4:59.05 in the mile. Finished her career No. 5 all-time at Cal State LA in the indoor mile and No. 2 as part of the medley relay team that recorded a time of 11:58.64.

At Adams State: Had a tremendous career for the NCAA Division II school. Had best marks of 2:21.25 in the 800 meters and 4:34.13 in the 1,500 in 2013 during the outdoor season and ran 4:52.03 in the mile and 10:18.57 in the 3,000 during indoor track. Was part of a national championship indoor team at Adams State. Earned All-Region honors twice in cross country after finishing eighth in 2012 and third in 2013. Earned All-America honors in 2012 after finishing 39^th in the country. Earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors in 2012 after finishing fifth in the conference championships in 2012.

At Glendale Community College: Was part of a state championship cross country team in 2011. Earned All-Conference honors in 2010 and 2011.

At Canyon High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Was the Most Valuable Runner in 2009-10.

Personal: Daughter of David and Erin Selve. Majoring in psychology/pre-health. Enjoys cooking, reading, knitting and rock climbing. Lists competing at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Nationals and the Indoor Track and Field Nationals as her most exciting experiences in sports.
