Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program. Had best marks of 12:21.65 in the 3,000 meters and 21:21.05 in the 5,000.

2014: Competed for the Cal State L.A. cross country team in the fall and ran in five races. Finished 97^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 28:46.8 over a 6,000-meter course. Had a best 5,000-meter course time of 22:02.4 at the UC Irvine Invitational. Had a best 6,000-meter course time of 26:30.4 at the UC Riverside Invitational.

At Cantwell Sacred Heart High School: Competed in cross country, basketball, soccer and track and field. Team won cross country league championships in 2006 and 2007.

Personal: Daughter of George and Ernestine Herrera. Majoring in business management. Enjoys running, playing basketball and spending time with the people she loves.
