Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in nine games with five starts. Played a total of 369 minutes. Had three goals and two assists for eight points. Was fourth on the team in scoring. Had a spectacular debut for the Golden Eagles, breaking a scoreless tie in the 84^th minute with a goal in a 2-0 win at Fresno Pacific on Sept. 5. Made his first start and played 27 minutes in a 1-0 win at Western Washington on Sept. 12. Had two straight games with a goal and an assist late in the season. Had the game-tying goal in the 45^th minute of a 2-1 win over Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 27 before getting the assist on Marlon Radel’s game-winner in the 50^th minute. Picked up his final goal, getting the game-winner in the 75^th minute after getting an assist on Oscar Warne’s earlier goal in a 2-1 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 1. Made his final appearance of the season and played 43 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 3. Earned 2024 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Flagler: Appeared in 23 games over two seasons and scored 24 goals. Had 18 goals and two assists for 38 points in his final season. Recorded a pair of hat tricks. Earned second-team D2 CCA All-America honors and first-team All-Southeast Region honors. Earned second-team All-Southeast Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches. Earned first-team All-Conference honors in his second season and second-team All-Conference honors in his first.

At North Carolina Wesleyan College: Appeared in 30 games with 21 starts. Was second on the team in goals with 11 and points with 25. Had five game-winning goals. Earned first-team All-Conference honors. Also had four goals as a freshman and earned third-team All-Conference honors.

At Liceo Classico Lorenzo Costa: Graduated.

Personal: Son of Roberto Costa and Maria Grazia Lucchesi. Majoring in economics. Enjoys tennis. Lists a championship win at Flagler in 2020 as his most exciting experience in sports.
