Cal State LA Athletics

2026: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Was one of three players to start in all 51 games. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and second-team All-West Region recognition from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Set a new program record with 18 home runs. Was third in the CCAA in that category. Hit .293 with 46 runs batted in and 44 runs scored. Led the team in home runs, RBI, runs scored, slugging percentage (.641) and was third in on-base percentage (.443). Made his Cal State LA debut and went 0-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI in a 16-1 win over Hawaii Pacific on Jan. 30. Hit his first home run of the season later that day in a 6-3 win at Chaminade. Hit two home runs in three games, including a grand slam and two-run shot in a 15-3 win at Cal State East Bay on April 2. Had a season-high six RBI in the game. Also had a three-run homer and a solo shot as part in a 2-for-3, four RBI and three runs scored performance in a 9-4 win against Cal State San Marcos on Feb. 22. Had a pair of home runs as part of a 3-for-3 day at the plate at Cal State San Bernardino on March 22. Went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI courtesy of a seventh-inning grand slam in a 9-3 win at Chaminade on Feb. 1. Hit a game-winning two-run home run in the top of the ninth of an 8-7 win at Cal State Monterey Bay on March 7, breaking a 6-6 tie. Hit safely in 36 games with 13 multi-hit games including two three-hit games and one four-hit game. Hit home runs in 15 games. Earned 2025-26 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Monterey Peninsula College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors both seasons with the program. Hit .274 with nine home runs, 31 runs batted in and 25 runs scored in 2025. Hit .348 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI and 27 runs scored in 2024. Had 19 home runs, 66 RBI and 52 runs scored in his career.

At Palma High School: Earned all-league honors.

Personal: Son of Arnoldo and Lorena Gonzalez. Majoring in business. Enjoys baseball. Lists making the playoffs as his most exciting experience in sports.
