2026: Played well for the Golden Eagles in his second year with the program. Appeared in 16 games with three starts. Hit .311 with five hits in 16 at bats. Had four runs scored and four RBI. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI in a 14-2 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 15 for his first multi-hit game. Drew a bases-loaded walk to drive in a run in a 16-1 win at Hawaii Pacific on Jan. 30. Went 1-for-2 with a two-run double in a 15-4 win over Cal Poly Pomona on April 18. Entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning and scored a run in a 13-10 win over Stanislaus State on March 14. Earned 2026 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2025: Made immediate contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 18 games with two starts. Hit .182 with two hits in 11 at bats. Scored four runs and had one stolen base. Made his Cal State LA debut and went 0-for4 with one run scored at Vanguard on Jan. 31. Got his first hit as a pinch hitter against Cal State San Bernardino on April 26. Had a double in his only at bat against Cal State San Bernardino on April 27.

At Buchanan High School: Hit .315 with 35 hits, 20 runs batted in and 17 stolen bases.

Personal: Son of Tim and Kelle Butler. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys golf and lifting. Lists the walk-off home run by Isaiah Marquez against Sonoma State last season as his most exciting experience in sports.
