Cal State LA Athletics

2026: Earned an Opening Day start and was a contributor for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 20 games with 13 starts. Hit .164 with 10 hits in 61 at bats. Drove in five runs and scored 10. Had a sensational debut for Cal State LA in a 16-1 win at Hawaii Pacific on Jan. 30. Batting in the leadoff spot, went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBI. Had a three-run triple in the second inning to give the Golden Eagles a 4-0 lead. Also went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in a 6-3 win at Chaminade in a second game on Jan. 30.  Had a pinch-hit RBI single in a 15-4 win over Cal Poly Pomona on April 18. Hit safely in seven games and had three multi-hit games.

At College of the Sequoias: Hit .399 with six home runs, 39 runs batted in and 31 runs scored in 2024 and was the Central Valley Conference’s Co-Most Valuable Player after hitting .413 in conference play.

At Cuesta College: Hit .234 with one home run, eight RBI and nine runs scored in 64 at bats.

At Clovis North High School: Earned second-team All-League honors.

Personal: Son of Ralph and Rebecca Munoz. Majoring in communicative disorders. Enjoys the beach and gym. Lists hitting a walk-off home run and turning a triple play as his most exciting experiences in sports. Note he has two brothers and one sister.
