2026: Had another solid season for the Golden Eagles in his second year with the program. Appeared in 12 games, all starts. Went 5-5 with a 5.65 earned run average over 71 2/3 innings. Was second on the team in victories. Led the team and was fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in innings pitched with 71 2/3. Was tied for second on the team with 51 strikeouts. Won his first four starts of the season and went at least five innings in all 12 starts. Tossed five hitless innings and picked up the win a 6-3 win at Chaminade on Jan. 30. Walked only one and struck out five. Allowed six hits and two earned runs in a win over Northwest Nazarene on Feb. 6. Had a career-high seven strikeouts in the win. Allowed nine hits and three earned runs in a 7-3 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on 7-3. Improved to 4-0 after allowing six hits and one earned run in seven innings of a 10-3 win over Westcliff on Feb. 27. Allowed seven hits and one run over seven innings in a 9-1 win over Chico State on March 27. Pitched a career-high 7 1/3 innings at Cal State East Bay on April 3.

2025: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in seven games, all starts, and was the team’s No. 1 starter until suffering a season-ending injury in March. Was 1-1 with a 5.45 earned run average over 39 2/3 innings. Made his Cal State LA debut and allowed only two runs over 5 1/3 innings of a 9-2 win at Vanguard on Jan. 31. Went a season-long 6 2/3 innings and gave up three hits and three runs in an 8-7 win against Regis on Feb. 21. Picked up his first victory with the Golden Eagles after going six innings in a win at Cal Poly Pomona on March 21 in his final start of the season. Had a season-high seven strikeouts in back-to-back starts against Cal State San Marcos on Feb. 28 and at Stanislaus State on March 7. Team was 5-2 in his seven starts.

At UC Davis: Had a 3-5 record with a 6.53 earned run average in 31 appearances over two seasons with the Aggies. Had a 2-1 record in 11 appearances and one start in 2024. Was 1-4 with one save in 20 appearances in 2023. Made seven starts for UC Davis in 2023. Pitched a total of 77 1/3 innings in his two seasons and had 18 walks and 53 strikeouts.

At William J. Knight High School: Was a four-year varsity player. Earned All-League honors twice and was a two-time team Most Valuable Player.

Personal: Son of Felix and Fabiola Huezo. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys reading, dog walks, video games and golf. Lists closing the game and winning the CCL Championship in the Summer Collegiate League as his most exciting experience in sports.
