Biography

2017: Appeared in one game for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Appeared in a career-high 22 minutes in a 1-0 win over Hawaii Hilo on Sept. 19. Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award for 2017-18 as well as a CCAA Fall All-Academic Award.

2016: Appeared in one game for the Golden Eagles in his first year in the program. Got five minutes of playing time in a 6-2 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 1. Earned a CCAA All-Academic Award for 2016-17.

At Glendale High School: Earned first-team All-CIF honors.

Personal: Son of Vazgen and Juliet Shabani. Majoring in exercise science. Enjoys working out and listening to music. Lists traveling to Armenia for a major soccer tournament as his most exciting experience in sports.
