Biography

2017: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his third and final year with the program. Appeared and started in 19 games. Played a total of 1,132 minutes. Had five goals and four assists for 14 points and was the team's second-leading scorer. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Had both goals in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 15. Had the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Stanislaus State on Oct. 26. Also had goals at Humboldt State on Oct. 22 and in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 28. Had one assist in four games. For his career, appeared in 55 games with 47 starts. Played a total of 3,320 minutes. Had 13 goals and seven assists for 33 points.

2016: Had a big season for the Golden Eagles and was the team’s leading scorer. Appeared in 19 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 1,377 minutes. Recorded seven goals and one assist for 15 points. Earned second-team All-CCAA honors. Had the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Stanislaus State on Sept. 18 and also recorded goals against Saint Martin’s in a 6-2 win on Sept. 1, Point Loma in a 1-1 tie on Sept. 3, Cal State East Bay in a 4-3 win on Sept. 16, Cal State Monterey Bay in a 3-1 win on Sept. 30, Cal State Dominguez Hills in a 2-0 win on Oct. 5 and at Sonoma State on Oct. 29. Also had an assist on a goal by Shahin Hemat in a 3-0 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 24. Was 3-3 on penalty kicks.

2015: Appeared in 17 games for the Golden Eagles and started 10 times. Played a total of 811 minutes. Recorded one goal and two assists for four points. Scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of a 3-2 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 31. Scored his first point with an assist in a 5-0 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Oct. 7 and had the assist on a goal in the 87th minute of a 1-1 tie against Chico State on Oct. 11. Got his first career start in a 1-1 tie at Western Washington in the season opener on Sept. 3.

At Theodolingden Gymnasaium: Competed in soccer.

Personal: Son of Harry and Doreen Eberle. Majoring in economics. Enjoys spending time with friends and family. Lists finishing in second place in the national high-school soccer tournament in Germany as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he has his youth soccer coaching license.
