Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in all 22 games and started 21 times  Led the team in scoring with 11 goals and six assists for 28 points. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and second-team All-West Region honors from the D2 Conference Commissioners' Association. Also earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Made his first appearance and start for the Golden Eagles in a 4-0 win over Bethesda on Aug. 31. Had goals in Cal State LA's first three games, including the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Concordia-Irvine on Sept. 7. Had two goals and one assist in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 28. Also had the game-winning goals in 1-0 victories over Cal State San Marcos on Sept;. 22, San Francisco State on Oct. 15 and Chico State in overtime on Oct. 28 that got the Golden Eagles into the CCAA Tournament. Had an assist on a goal by David Elizaga in a 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona in the championship game. 

At Cal State Bakersfield: Was the Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2013 and earned first-team All-Conference honors. Led the team and conference in goals with 12 and points with 28. Was one of 30 players selected to the preseason MAC Herman Trophy Watch in 2015, which is given to the top player in college soccer. Earned second-team All-Conference and third-team All-Region honors. Led the team in goals for a second straight year with eight. Was second on the team in scoring in 2016 with four goals and two assists.

At Golden Valley High School: Named Bakersfield Californian Player of the Year as a senior after scoring 25 goals and recording 22 assists for 72 points in 2013. Named first-team Bakersfield Californian All-Area as a sophomore and junior. Was the SW Yosemite Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2012 and 2013. Earned first-team All-League honors all four years.

Personal: Son of Martha Flores. Majoring in Liberal Studies. Enjoys movies and running. Lists his college experience in general as his most exciting experience in sports.
