Biography

2006: Had an outstanding start to his Cal State L.A. career. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Appeared in and started 20 games for the Golden Eagles. Had three goals and five assists for a total of 11 points. Scored a goal in his first game at Cal State L.A., a 4-4 tie with Notre Dame de Namur on Aug. 28. Had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Scored his third goal of the year in a 2-1 victory over Chico State on Oct. 8.
 
At Birmingham High School: Competed in soccer.
 
Personal: Son of Israel and Blanca Sandoval. Majoring in business. Lists winning a gold medal in the Junior Olympics as his most exciting experience in sports.
