Cal State LA Athletics

2007: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in all 21 games and started all of them. Played a total of 1,339 minutes. Had 10 goals and five assists for 25 points. Led the team in scoring. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Scored two goals in his Cal State L.A. debut in a 5-0 win over Saint Martin's on Aug. 23. Also had both goals in a 2-0 win at Cal State Stanislaus on Sept. 28 and both goals in a 2-2 tie against Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 28. Had a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Also had goals against Sonoma State on Sept. 7, in a 2-1 win at Chico State on Sept. 30 and in a 2-1 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 26. Had two assists in a 3-2 win over Humboldt State on Sept. 9.

At El Camino Junior College: Earned the team’s Most Valuable Player award twice and earned academic honors as well.

At Norbonne High School: Was the Most Valuable Player on his team as a senior. Also earned academic honors.

Personal: Son of Emmanuel and Hawa Massaquoi. Majoring in computer information systems. Enjoys making new friends. Lists playing against the L.A. Galaxy in a friendly match as his most exciting experience in sports.
