Biography

2007: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and completed a legendary four-year career with the program. Started all 21 games for the Golden Eagles and played a total of 1,651 minutes. Had eight goals and five assists for 21 points. Was second on the team in scoring. Earned second-team All-Far West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Daktronics. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for a fourth straight season. Had two goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Had a goal and an assist in a season-opening 5-0 win over Saint Martin's on Aug. 23. Scored on a penalty kick in a 3-2 win over Humboldt State on Sept. 9 and had the team's lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Seattle Pacific on Sept. 11. Converted on a penalty kick in a 2-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 16 and had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 21. Had the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at UC San Diego on Sept. 23. Picked up the athletic department’s Academic Achievement Award (male) for 2007-08. For his career, appeared in 79 games and started all 79. Played a total of 5,859 minutes. Scored 46 goals and had 14 assists for 106 points. Finished his career No. 2 in goals, No. 2 in points and No. 1 in shots (266) at Cal State L.A.

2006: Enjoyed his third straight sensational season at Cal State L.A. Led the team in scoring for a third consecutive year with 13 goals, five assists and 31 points. Started all 23 games. Was second in points and third in goals in the CCAA. Earned first-team All-CCAA, first-team Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Far-West Region, first-team NSCAA/adidas NCAA Division II All-Far West Region and third-team NCAA Division II All-America honors. Was also named to the NCAA Division II Far West Regional All-Tournament team and earned the Outstanding Offensive Player Award at the tourney. Scored three goals in two NCAA playoff games, netting one in a 2-1 win over Seattle Pacific on Nov. 2 and getting two against Seattle University in the regional final on Nov. 4. Also had both goals in a 2-0 win over UC San Diego on Sept. 22 and two – including the game-winner – in a 2-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 20. Named Cal State L.A.'s Exceptional Student-Athlete of the Year (male) for 2006-07.

2005: Was named the CCAA Player of the Year as a sophomore after a spectacular season. Scored 12 goals and had one assist and a total of 25 points. Six of his goals were game-winners. Appeared in 16 games and led the conference in points per game and goals per game. Earned second-team NSCAA/adidas All-Far West Region second-team honors. Recorded his second career hat-trick by scoring three goals in a 5-0 win over Hope International on Aug. 31. Scored two goals in a pair of games. Had both goals in a 2-0 win at Cal State Bakersfield on Sept. 20 and scored twice in a 3-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 1. Scored the only goal in a season-opening 1-0 victory over Western Washington on Aug. 24.

2004: Made quite an impact in his first season at Cal State L.A. Scored 13 goals and had three assists for a team-high 29 points. Earned first-team All-CCAA honors and second-team NSCAA/adidas All-Far West Region honors. Set a new Cal State L.A. single-game record with four goals in just his second contest as a Golden Eagle, a 5-3 win over Bryant University on Aug. 29. Added three goals just two games later in a 5-2 win over Cal Baptist on Sept. 11. Had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win at Sonoma State on Oct. 8. Had five game-winning goals. Started all 19 games for the Golden Eagles.
