Biography

At Long Beach City College: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2006. Earned first-team All-Conference honors twice. Was the team captain as a sophomore.
 
At Long Beach Wilson High School: Earned first-team All-Moore League honors as a junior and senior. Was the Defensive Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior and won the Coaches’ Award as a freshman. Team won a CIF championship in 2003.
 
Personal: Son of Gary and Marylouise Placko. Majoring in engineering. Enjoys playing FIFA. Lists winning the CIF championship at Wilson High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
