Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Had a strong season in her one year with the program. Appeared in 18 games and started 11 times. Played a total of 972 minutes. Had two goals and one assist for five points. Was fourth on the team in scoring. Made her Cal State LA debut and started in a 2-2 tie against Dixie State on Aug. 30. Played 78 minutes and got an assist on a goal by Heather Williams. Scored her first goal in a 4-1 win at Chico State on Sept. 7. Also got the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 28. Played a season-high 90 minutes at UC San Diego on Oct. 12.

At University of Oregon: Appeared in 12 games and started eight times as a sophomore in 2010. Scored her first career goal in season opener against Boise State on Aug. 20. Also had a goal in a win over UC Davis on Sept. 3 and notched the game-winning goal against San Diego State in a 2-1 win on Sept. 13. Appeared in 14 games and started three times as a freshman in 2009. Picked up an assist in a roald win over Fresno State on Aug. 30.

At Marist High School: Competed in soccer, basketball and track in high school. Earned four letters in soccer and earned All-State and All-District honors in 2008. Earned Player of the Game honors in state championship matches in 2007 and 2008. Helped her school’s track and field team to a state championship. Set a district record in the 400 meters with a time of 57.48.

Personal: Daughter of Makana and Lisa Apo. Majoring in communications. Enjoys music festivals, swimming, going to the beach, eating, family and watching Dexter and Breaking Bad. Lists scoring her first career goal in a 2-0 win against Boise State in 2010 as her most exciting experience in sports.
