Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. For her career, appeared in three games and played a total of 98 minutes.

2013: Saw her first playing action for the Golden Eagles last season. Appeared in three games and played a total of 98 minutes. Made her Cal State L.A. debut and played 45 minutes in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 8.  Also played against UC San Diego on Sept. 15 and against Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 13.

2012: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Righetti High School: Competed in soccer and volleyball. Earned first-team All-League honors two times and first-team All-CIF honors in soccer. Was a part of a league championship team. Also received the Best Stage Presence award in high school band.

Personal: Daughter of Jorge and Jackie Cortes.  Majoring in psychology. Enjoys singing, laughing and making people smile. Lists every win and traveling for the first time to Humboldt State with her college team as her most exciting experiences in sports.
