Summary

Biography

2014: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her second and final year with the program. Started all 21 games for the Golden Eagles and played a total of 1969 minutes. Allowed only 10 goals all season and finished with 13 shutouts and 66 saves. Had a goals against average of 0.46 and a save percentage of .868. Set new program records for lowest goals against average and most shutouts. Earned first-team All-West Region and first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Allowed only three goals in 11 conference matches and went 9-0-2. Had a career-high seven saves in a 1-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 10. Earned CCAA All-Tournament honors after helping the Golden Eagles to the tournament championship. For her career, appeared and started in 34 games. Allowed only 22 goals and posted 19 shutouts, which is No. 3 all-time. Had a goals against average of 0.62, which is No. 1 all-time. Finished with 24 wins, which is No. 3 all-time and with 106 saves, which is No. 8 all-time. Had a save percentage of .828.

2013: Made an immediate impact in her first year with the program. Missed the first six matches of the season due to injury and then started the final 13 games. Finished season with an 8-3-2 record with six shutouts. Allowed 12 goals in her 13 starts and had a goals against average of 0.87. Made 40 saves and had a save percentage of .769. Made five saves in a 1-0 win over Chico State in her Cal State L.A. debut on Sept. 27. Had back-to-back shutouts over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 1 and in a double-overtime 1-0 win at UC San Diego on Nov. 3. Made five saves in the win over the Toros and three saves in the win over the Tritons. Also recorded shutouts in 1-0 wins at Humboldt State on Oct. 6, at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 18 and at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 25. Allowed one or no goals in 10 of 13 starts.

At Murray State: Competed for two seasons with the Racers and appeared in a total of 26 games with 21 starts. Recorded six shutouts in 15 starts as a freshman in 2011. Made a total of 63 saves and had a goals against average of 1.10. Made 37 saves in nine games with six starts as a sophomore in 2012.

At Shanghai Friendship School: Competed in soccer and basketball. Participated in the Chinese Football Association’s Women’s Football Cup and helped teams to third-place finishes twice. Also was on a team that won a three-nation invitational tournament that included Korea and Japan. Was a team Most Valuable Player and a top athlete of China.

Personal: Daughter of Jian Fang Du and Mei Ling Tang. Majoring in business-marketing. Enjoys reading and movies. Lists saving three penalty kicks against the national youth team of Japan in the Three Nations Cup and winning the game MVP award as her most exciting experience in sports.
