Biography

2014: Led the Golden Eagles in scoring for a second straight season and had a tremendous second and final season with the program. Earned third-team All-America honors from the NSCAA and All-America honorable mention from Daktronics. Also earned first-team All-West Region honors for a second straight season and first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for a second straight year. Was named the CCAA Tournament Offensive Most Valuable Offensive Player after helping the Golden Eagles to a tourney title. Appeared in 21 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 1,087 minutes. Tied a program single-season record with 14 goals and added four assists for 32 points. The 32 points are tied for fourth all-time. Scored a hat trick in a 3-0 win over Sonoma State in a CCAA Tournament semifinal on Nov. 7. Also had two goals in a 2-1 win over Chico State on Sept. 28. Recorded a pair of assists in a 3-1 win over Chico State in CCAA Tournament championship match on Nov. 9. For her career, appeared in 40 games with 36 starts. Played a total of 2,139 minutes. Had 24 goals, seven assists and 55 points. Finished her career tied for third in goals and tied for fourth in points.

2013: Led the Golden Eagles in scoring and was one of the top newcomers in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Earned first-team All-CCAA, first-team NSCAA All-West Region and second-team Daktronics All-West Region honors. Had 10 goals and three assists for 23 points. Was second in the CCAA in goals scored and fourth in points. Got her Cal State L.A. career off to a dynamic start by scoring two goals in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 8. Scored the lone goal in three 1-0 wins over Point Loma on Sept. 10, Chico State on Sept. 27 and at Humboldt State on Oct. 6. Also had the first goal in a 2-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 1. Led the Golden Eagles with four game-winning goals. Was named the team’s Best Offensive Player.

At UNC Pembroke: Enjoyed a record-breaking season for the Braves in 2012. Earned first-team All-Southeast Region honors and second-team Peach Belt Conference accolades. She led her team with 13 goals and set a program record with 11 assists. She was second in the conference in goals and points (37) and led the conference in assists and shots (84). She played in 20 games as a sophomore and started 19 times. She appeared in 18 games as a freshman in 2011 and started 16 times. Shared the team lead with 19 points after scoring a team-high eight goals and adding three assists. Recorded a hat trick in a 4-1 win over Lander. Had three assists in three different games. In her two years with the program, recorded 21 goals and 14 assists for 56 points.

At Katrinelunds Gymnasiet: Competed in soccer for Division I club team Holmalund during the summer.

Personal: Daughter of Gert Arvidsson and Marie Sandell. Majoring in business management. Enjoys family, friends and sports. Lists playing soccer in the United States as her most exciting experience in sports.
