Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Was a major contributor to the defense in her second and final season with the program. Appeared in 13 games and started four times. Played a total of 691 minutes. Made her first start of the season and played all 90 minutes in a 4-0 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 19. Played a season-high 97 minutes in a 0-0 tie at Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 24. For her career, appeared in 29 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 2,054 minutes. Had one assist and one points.

2013: Made a big impact on defense for the Golden Eagles last season. Appeared in 16 games and started 14 times. Was sixth on the team in minutes played with 1,363. Made her Cal State L.A. debut in a reserve role against UC San Diego on Sept. 15. Made her first career start on Sept. 22 at Cal State Monterey Bay and then started the next 13 games. Had an assist on the Golden Eagles’ most dramatic goals of the season. Assisted on Andrea Lammers’ game-winner in the final minute of the second overtime in a 1-0 win at UC San Diego on Nov. 3 in the regular-season finale. That win locked up a spot in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Tournament.

2012: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Santiago Canyon College: Earned first-team All-Conference twice and helped her team win back-to-back conference titles. Team reached the state championship match in 2011.

At El Dorado High School: Competed in soccer and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Doug and Gail Cherry. Majoring in business-finance. Enjoys traveling and going to the driving range. Lists assisting on the game-winning goal in double overtime against UC San Diego that sent the Golden Eagles to the CCAA Championship Tournament as her most exciting experience in sports.
