Cal State LA Athletics

2013: Started five games for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Recorded shutouts in her first two starts for Cal State LA. Made one save in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 8 and made three saves in a 1-0 win over Point Loma on Sept. 10. Had a 2-3 record with two shutouts in her five starts. Allowed six goals and had a 1.20 goals against average. Made 12 saves and had a saves percentage of .667. 

2012: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Cal State Fullerton: Was on the team’s roster in 2011, but did not see game action.

At Bullard High School: Competed in soccer, volleyball and track and field. Was a four-year letter winner for the Knights. Helped her team to four straight County/Metro Athletic Conference titles and a CIF Central Section Division I crown as a senior. Team was also a state finalist. Earned first-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Was the team’s Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and senior. Had 15 shutouts and a goals against average of 0.63 as a senior. Had 55 career shutouts, including a career-high 18 as a sophomore. Threw the shot put and discus in track and field for two seasons. Also competed in the hurdles as a sophomore.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Deborah Johnson. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys going to concerts and crowd surfing. Lists getting second in the regional championship in high school as her most exciting experience in sports.
