Cal State LA Athletics

2013: Appeared in two games and played a total of 28 minutes in her final year with the program. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 26 minutes in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 8. Also played two minutes in Cal State LA's final game of the season at Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 8. 

2012: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt. Competed for the Golden Eagle track and field team in the spring of 2012. Placed 10^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the heptathlon with 3,614 points.

At Mountain View High School (Stafford, VA): Competed in volleyball, soccer, track and field and cross country. Was the team Most Valuable Player in soccer and also the team captain. Was also the team Most Valuable Player in volleyball and track and field. Earned All-State honors in track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Zdenek Ficenec and Hana Becker. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys running, reading, going for adventures, traveling, going for walks, eating fruit and going to the beach. Lists being one of the top goal scorers in Central California as a sophomore in high school as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she is bilingual and that her first language is Czech. Hopes one day to go to the Olympics.
