Summary

Biography

2011: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles and completed an outstanding three-year career with the program. Started all 21 games and played a total of 1,469 minutes. Had two assists for two points. Made her first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 53 minutes in a 2-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 1. Picked up her first assist of the season on a game-tying goal by Cari Gill in the second half of a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 30. Also had an assist on an early goal by Norie Pablo in a 3-0 win at Sonoma State on Oct. 7. Picked up the athletic department’s Academic Achievement Award (female) for 2011-12. For her career, appeared in 63 games and started 21 times. Played a total of 3,037 minutes. Had four assists for four points.  

2010: Had a second successful season for the Golden Eagles. Appeared in all 20 games and was once again a top reserve. Had an assist on a goal by Lisa Ohberg in a 6-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Aug. 10. Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors for a second straight year and received a Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Was selected by Cal State L.A.’s Division of Intercollegiate Athletics to receive the Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for 2010-11..
 
2009: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in all 22 games for Cal State L.A. and was a key reserve. Had a total of eight shots, including four on goal. Picked up an assist on a goal by Jasmin Stuemper against Academy of Art on Sept. 5. Earned CCAA All-Academic honors.
 
At Cosumnes River College: Earned the team’s academic excellence award for having the highest grade point average on the team. Was a Scholar Baller. Had six goals and six assists.
At Elk Grove High School: Competed in soccer and track and field. Was a scholar-athlete all four years in high school. Earned the outstanding scholar award on both soccer and track and field teams. Also earned the Link Crew Award and the Renaissance Award.
Personal: Daughter of Shirley Younge. Majoring in communications and psychology. Enjoys reading, scrapbooking, taking pictures and dancing. Lists beating Santa Rosa during league and being one game away from making it to the Final Four at Cosumnes River College as her most exciting experiences in sports. Is Cal State L.A.’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee president for 2011-12.
