Summary

Biography

2011: Had a second sensational season with the Golden Eagles and completed her two-year career with the program. Appeared and started in all 21 games. Played a total of 1,560 minutes. Led the team in scoring with eight goals and two assists for 20 points. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from Daktronics and second-team recognition from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Also earned first-team All-CCAA honors and was the CCAA Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 29-Sept. 4. Scored her first goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 1 and also scored one in a 3-0 win over Grand Canyon to earn the CCAA weekly honors. Had game-winning goals in back-to-back victories over Cal State San Bernardino, 2-0 on Sept. 23, and 1-0 over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 25. Had a goal in a 3-0 win at Sonoma State on Oct. 7. Had a goal and assist in a 3-2 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 21 and a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 30. Scored the team's biggest goal of the season, the game-winner in the 80th minute of a 2-1 win over Seattle Pacific in a second-round NCAA playoff game on Nov. 12. For her career, appeared in 41 games and started 29 times. Played a total of 2,758 minutes. Had 11 goals and eight assists for 30 points. Shared Cal State L.A.'s Exceptional Student-Athlete of the Year Award (female) with Christie Lau for 2011-12. Went on to compete for Cal State LA's track and field and cross country programs after her soccer career was over. Finished second in the nation in the 1,500 meters in 2013 and earned three All-America awards. Also earned third-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and was the CCAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Also earned the department's Billie Jean King Award as the top female athlete for 2012-13.

2010: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Finished fifth on the team in scoring with three goals, six assists and 12 points. Appeared in all 20 games and started eight times. Had two goals and one assist in a 6-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Sept. 12. Scored the tying goal in the second half of a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 23. Had two assists in a 4-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 29. Earned a Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award. Also competed for the Cal State L.A. track and field team and earned All-Conference honors in the 1,500 and 5,000 meters. Had the team’s best times in both events.

At Northwood University: Had two outstanding seasons for the NAIA program. Scored 26 goals and was the Sun-Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in 2008. Also had 12 assists for a total of 64 points. Was third in the nation in goals scored. Followed that up with 18 goals in 2009. Was named third-team All-American in 2008 and earned All-America honorable mention in 2009. Earned first-team All-Conference honors both seasons.
 
At Sven Erikson Gymnasiet: Earned the Most Deserving Student Academic Award.

Personal: Daughter of Bengt and Marianne Gruden Ohberg. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys friends, family and working out. Lists winning conference and playing in nationals as her most exciting experiences in sports.
