WALNUT -- Cal State LA's men's and women's track and field teams were represented by a select group of athletes Friday at the 66th Annual Mt. SAC Relays.

Gabriel Pearson set a new season's best for the second straight day while finishing seventh in the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.53.

Drew Hill was sixth in both individual events he competed in on Friday, taking sixth in the 100 with a time of 10.46 and placing sixth in the 200 in 21.03. Wallace Aflamah was 15th in the 200 with a time of 21.28.

Cal State LA's 4x400 relay team of Hill, Nicholas Aninze, Jaylend Howard and Aflamah was seventh in 3:13.14.

For the women, Sinaiah Pointer was sixth in the shot put with a mark of 45-6.25, Kailea Satterwhite was ninth in the discus with a mark of 158-2 and Summer Stevenson was 14th in the triple jump with a mark of 39-9.75. All three have posted provisional qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships.

Cal State LA will return to action in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships at Cal State San Marcos beginning on April 30.
