Saxon Andross was a bright spot for the Golden Eagles, allowing only one earned run over the final six innings, a solo home run by Nascimento. He allowed six hits, although half of them were on slowly-hit groundballs that found their way into the outfield.
Trailing 5-2 in the fifth, the Golden Eagles had two on and two outs and Watkins rifled a line drive into deep left, but right at left fielder Kert Woods, who made the catch for the final out of the inning.
