2009: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Finished eighth in the heptathlon in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships for a second straight season. Also finished ninth in the high jump, ninth in the 400 hurdles and 12th in the javelin. Had a best total of 4,030 points in the heptathlon. Also had best marks of 13.76 in the 100, 27.38 in the 200, 61.32 in the 400, 2:22.47 in the 800, 16.10 in the 100 hurdles, 67.10 in the 400 hurdles, 4-11.75 in the high jump, 15-5 in the long jump, 27-1.25 in the shot put and 100-7 in the javelin. For her career, had best marks of 13.65 in the 100, 26.99 in the 200, 61.32 in the 400, 2:22.47 in the 800, 16.10 in the 100 hurdles, 66.41 in the 400 hurdles, 4-11.75 in the high jump, 15-5 in the long jump, 34-7.75 in the shot put and 100-7 in the javelin. Finished her career No. 5 all-time in the indoor high jump.

2008: Had a successful first season with the Golden Eagles. Finished eighth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the heptathlon with 3,780 points. Also took eighth in the 400 hurdles and ninth in the high jump. Had the team’s top marks in the 800 meters (2:23.94), 400 hurdles (66.41) and shot put (34-7.75).

At Santa Barbara CC: Earned first-team All-Conference cross country honors and received the team’s Outstanding Leadership Award. Also a member of the President’s Roll.

At Santa Maria HS: Competed in track and field and cross country and was a 4x800 state qualifier.

Personal: Daughter of Pascasio and Catalina Micue. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys acting, singing and painting. Lists the 4x400 relay as her most exciting experience in sports for the pure excitement from beginning to end because you never know the outcome.
