2010: Had a strong indoor season for the Golden Eagles to conclude her Cal State L.A. career. Had the team's best marks in the mile with a time of 5:09.11 and in the 5,000 with a time of 17:45.28. For her indoor career, had best marks of 5:09.11 in the mile, 10:29.17 in the 3,000 and 17:45.28 in the 5,000. Finished her indoor career No. 1 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the 3,000, No. 4 in the mile, No. 5 in the 5,000 and No. 2 as part of the distance medley team
2009: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles to complete a tremendous outdoor career with the program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for a second straight year after finishing third in the steeplechase at the conference meet. Also finished 12th in the 1,500 meters. Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships and finished 14th in the nation in the steeplechase. Had best marks of 2:35.63 in the 800, 4:46.13 in the 1,500, 10:08.56 in the 3,000, 10:51.78 in the steeplechase and 18:03.66 in the 5,000. Also ran well during the indoor season. Had best marks of 5:12.85 in the mile, 10:29.17 in the 3,000 and 18:04.92 in the 5,000. For her career, had best marks of 2:35.63 in the 1,500, 4:46.13 in the 1,500, 10:08.56 in the 3,000, 10:51.78 in the steeplechase and 18:03.66 in the 5,000 in outdoor track. and and No. 4 all-time in the steeplechase in outdoor track.
2008: Earned All-CCAA honors in track and field after finishing second in the steeplechase with a time of 11:19.07. Had a best time of 11:09.48Â in that event, which was a provisional national qualifying mark. Also finished fourth in the CCAA in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:14.97 and eighth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:48.81. Had best times of 5:22.00 in the mile, 10:41.86 in the 3,000 and 18:00.20 in the 5,000 meters in indoor track and field. Earned All-CCAA and All-West Region honors for a second year in a row in cross country. Finished 10th in the CCAA Championships with a time of 22:53.1 over 6,000 meters. Also placed 11th in the NCAA Division II West Region Championships with a time of 22:37.1 over 6,000 meters and finished 46th in the NCAA Division II Championships.
2007: Had a sensational first year with the Golden Eagle cross country team and helped Cal State L.A. to a CCAA championship and a fifth-place finish in the nation. Earned All-CCAA and All-West Region honors after finishing eighth in the conference championships with a time of 21:32.4 and eighth in the West Region with a time of 21:05.0. Also ran well in the NCAA Division II National Championships, placing 42nd with a time of 21:53.3.
At Glendale College: Earned All-State honors twice in cross country and led a team that won the Southern California championship and finished second in the state. Team won conference titles both years. Also earned All-State honors in the steeplechase and 10,000 meters in track and field.
At Herbert Hoover High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Qualified for CIF in the mile and had a best time of 5:33 in the mile.
Personal: Daughter of Serafin Hernandez and Margarita Molina. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys reading and going to the beach. Lists making it to nationals with Cal State L.A.’s cross country team in 2007 as her most exciting experience in sports.
