Summary

Biography

2008: Had a sensational debut for Cal State L.A. with the cross country program in the fall. Won the California Collegiate Athletic Association individual championship with a winning time of 21:27.7 over 6,000 meters and was named the CCAA Runner of the Year. Also earned All-America honors by finishing eighth in the country, the best finish for a Cal State L.A. runner in at least 10 years. Also earned All-West Region honors after placing ninth and leading the team to a fourth-place finish. Finished second in the Cal State Fullerton Season Opener and the Slippery Rock University Pre-Nationals meet. Earned CCAA Runner of the Week honors three times.
 
At Glendale College: Earned All-America honors in cross country and track and field. Team won a state championship in cross country. Finished third at the state cross country meet, second in the state 1,500 and third in the state 5,000. Won conference titles in the 1,500 and 5,000.
 
At Buena High School: Was a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. Graduated with seven varsity letters. Competed in swimming, cross country, track and field and cheer. Was also in the school band and choir.
 
Personal: Daughter of Anthony and Suk Wadeck. Majoring in photo journalism. Enjoys traveling and classical piano. Lists winning the state cross country meet and winning summer 5Ks as her most exciting experiences in sports.
