Biography

At El Camino High School: Was a four-year varsity player. Earned first-team All-Avocado League honors as a junior and senior and second-team honors as a freshman and sophomore. Was the team Most Valuable Player as a senior, the Best Offensive Player as a junior and the Coaches’ Award as a sophomore and freshman. Also played varsity tennis for three years. Earned the student-athlete honors award as a senior.
 
Personal: Daughter of Juan Sanchez and Rosa Franco. Majoring in business. Enjoys eating, video games and playing tennis. Club team won a state cup championship in 2005 and a Nomads Championship in 2007. Lists winning championships as her most exciting experiences in sports.
