Cal State LA Athletics

2006: Appeared in nine games and recorded a pair of assists in her second season with the Golden Eagles. Assisted on a goal in the opener against Notre Dame de Namur in a 3-1 win on Aug. 20 and notched an assist against Cal State Bakersfield in a 2-1 win on Sept. 13. Had a total of 17 shots in the nine games, including four in a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17.

 

2005: Had an outstanding debut season at Cal State L.A. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was named the conference Freshman of the Year. Appeared in 18 games and had a team-high nine goals and three assists for a total of 21 points. The 21 points also led the team. Recorded a pair of hat tricks in CCAA play. Had three goals and one assist for a career-high seven points in a 6-1 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 17. Also had three goals in a 5-4 loss against Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 22. Scored the first goal of her Cal State L.A. career in a 2-1 win at Cal Baptist on Sept. 6. Also had game-winning goals in a 2-1 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 4 and in a 3-1 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 9. Was named CCAA Player of the Week twice, for the weeks of Sept. 12-18 and Oct. 3-9.

 

At Quartz Hill HS: Was the 2005 Golden League Most Valuable Player and earned first-team All-CIF honors. Scored 22 goals and was the team’s Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player and the school’s Female Athlete of the Year. Also earned first-team All-CIF honors in 2004 and second-team honors in 2003. Team won three consecutive Golden League championships.

 

Personal: Daughter of Douglas and Brenda Greenwood. Majoring in nursing. Enjoys church, music and shopping. Lists scoring 22 goals in the 2004-05 high school season, earning the Golden League MVP award, being named the CCAA Freshman of the Year and earning first-team All-CCAA honors at Cal State L.A. as her most exciting experiences in sports.
