Summary

Biography

2007: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Started all 23 games and played a total of 2,046 minutes. Was third on the team in minutes played and was a solid defender all season long. For her career, appeared in 42 games and started all of them. Played a total of 3,529 minutes.

2006: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in her first season and was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Newcomer of the Year. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention. Started all 19 games for Cal State L.A. and was a major contributor to a defense that allowed only 26 goals in 19 contests.
At American River College: Earned first-team All-League honors twice. Was a first-team All-American in 2005 and a second-team All-American in 2004.
At Folsom High School: Was the Delta Conference Player of the Year as a senior and earned All-League honors.
Personal: Daughter of Roy and Kim Huerta. Majoring in business management. Enjoys camping, skiing and going to the beach. Lists competing in the Junior Olympics in ski racing in Whistler, Canada in 2000 as her most exciting experience in sports.
