Biography

2007: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles and completed an outstanding four-year career with the program. Started all 23 games and played a total of 1,867 minutes. Had four goals and one assist for nine points. Was third on the team in scoring. Scored the game-winning goal in the 69th minute of a 2-1 victory over Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Scored a goal on a penalty kick in a 2-1 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 19 and scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 26. Scored a goal in a third straight game by converting on a penalty kick in a 4-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 28. Had an assist on a goal by Khadijah Greenwood in a 2-1 victory over UC San Diego in a first-round game at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament. For her career, appeared in 77 games and started 60 times. Played a total of 4,703 minutes. Had 12 goals and four assists for 28 points. Finished her career No. 1 all-time in games played in program history.

2006: Had her best season with the Golden Eagles. Led the team with five goals and was second in points with 11. Started all 19 games for Cal State L.A. Scored goals in five different games. Got her first goal of the season, on a penalty kick, in a 2-0 win over Seattle Pacific on Sept. 1. Scored again in a 2-1 victory at Humboldt State on Sept. 8. Converted on another penalty kick – the game-winner – in a 2-1 victory at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 15 and scored on another penalty kick in a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Scored the game-winner with seven minutes remaining in a 2-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 20. Assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 15. Received the “Teammate of the Year” award.
2005: Had a solid second season at Cal State L.A. Appeared in 16 games and started 13 times. Had three goals and one assist for seven points. Scored a goal – the first of her Cal State L.A. career - in the first game of the season, a 3-0 win over Vanguard on Aug. 25. Also scored a goal in a 2-1 win against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 4 and scored on a penalty kick in a 2-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 12. Had an assist in a 3-0 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 9.
2004: Made an impact on the team in her first year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and started five times. Had one assist in a 3-1 win over Northwest Nazarene on Sept. 4. Made her first start at Cal State L.A. in a 2-1 win against Pace University on Aug. 29.
At Mayfair High School: Was a member of the varsity team all four years. Was the co-team Most Valuable Player as a junior and earned second-team All-League honors. Won the team award and the coaches’ award as a senior and earned first-team All-League honors.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Sandra de Seriere. Majoring in education. Enjoys camping and the beach. Lists scoring a goal and beating Cal State Dominguez Hills for the first time in a while during her sophomore season in 2005 as her most exciting experience in sports.
