Summary

Biography

2014: Had a tremendous final season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the team's top defenders. Started all 21 games and led the team with 1,884 minutes. Had three assists and a total of three points. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the NSCAA and Daktronics. Also earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was named the CCAA Tournament Most Valuable Defensive Player after helping the Golden Eagles win the tournament title. Had an assist on a goal by Jackeline Lopez in a 2-0 win at Hawaii-Hilo on Sept. 4. Had her second assist on a goal by Amalia Arvidsson in a 2-1 win over Chico State on Sept. 28. Had her final assist of the season on a goal by Krystal Kutscher in a 2-2 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 30. For her career, appeared and started in 42 games. Played a total of 3,350 minutes. Had one goal and six assists for eight points.

2013: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles.

2012: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles because of injury and was a redshirt.

2011: Had a tremendous first season with the Golden Eagles and helped solidify one of the top defenses in the nation. Started all 21 games for Cal State L.A. Had one goal and three assists for a total of five points. Scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of regulation in a 2-1 win at Humboldt State on Oct. 9. Had assists in games against Sonoma State on Oct. 7, San Francisco State on Oct. 21 and Cal State East Bay on Oct. 30.

At Cerritos College: Earned first-team All-South Coast Conference honors and was a team captain in 2010 after scoring five goals with four assists for 14 points. Also earned second-team All-Conference honors as a freshman in 2009. Played in 23 games and scored two goals.

At St. Paul High School: Earned first-team All-CIF honors and first-team All-Area honors as a senior. Earned first-team All-Camino Real League honors and was the league MVP that season after scoring 25 goals. Was a four-year scholar-athlete. Earned All-CIF honors twice in her career. Voted team MVP three times and team captain three times.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Suzanne Telles. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys video games, hanging out with friends and family and watching movies. Lists scoring the game-winning goal against Humboldt State with 32 seconds left in the game in 2011 as her most exciting experience in sports. Says she is excited to be playing with her younger sister, Danielle, who is also on the Cal State L.A. women’s soccer roster.
