Summary

Biography

2007: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles and completed her outstanding career with the program. Appeared in all 23 games and started 20 times. Played a total of 1,171 minutes. Had two goals and four assists for eight points. Was tied for fourth on the team in scoring. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Had a strong start to her final season and had a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over Saint Martin's on Aug. 23. Had the opening goal in a 4-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 28. Had an assist on a goal by Khadijah Greenwood in a 2-1 win over Cal State San Marcos on Aug. 29. Had an assist on a goal by Ana Verlarde in a 2-1 victory over Humboldt State on Sept. 9. Also had an assist on a goal by Christine Buenrostro in a 2-1 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 26. For her career, appeared in 59 games and started 55 times. Had four goals and 17 assists for 25 points. Finished her career No. 1 all-time in assists in program history.

2006: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was named the team’s Most Outstanding Player. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Started all 19 games for the Golden Eagles. Set a new single-season program record for assists with eight and her career total of 13 is just one off the program record. Started the season quickly by scoring goals in each of the first two games. Had a goal and two assists in 3-1 season-opening win over Notre Dame de Namur on Aug. 28. Had the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Seattle Pacific on Sept. 1. Also had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 20. Scored points in eight of 19 games.
2003: Had a solid debut for Cal State L.A. Appeared in 17 games and started 16 times. Led the team with five assists. Made her first start for the Golden Eagles on Aug. 28 against Seattle Pacific. Got her first assist in a 3-1 win over Vanguard on Sept. 2. Had assists in two of the last three games, including one in a 3-1 win over Chico State on Oct. 19.
At Pasadena City College: Had four goals and five assists and earned first-team All-South Coast Conference honors in 2005.
Personal: Daughter of Jose and Eugenia Prado. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys dancing, acting and coaching soccer. Lists traveling to Egypt, Australia, England, Costa Rica and Guatemala playing soccer against top teams, premier leagues and national teams as part of the Women’s Mexican National Team program as her most exciting experiences in sports.
