Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Had a tremendous impact in her one year with the program and was one of the team's top defenders. Appeared in 16 games with 14 starts. Played a total of 1,324 minutes. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was named to the CCAA Tournament All-Tournament team after helping the Golden Eagles to the tourney title. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 14 minutes at Azusa Pacific on Sept. 20. Made her first start for the Golden Eagles and played all 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over UC San Diego on Sept. 26. 

At Cal Poly Pomona: Appeared in eight games for the Broncos before suffering a season-ending injury. Scored two game-winning goals, one against Notre Dame de Namur and the other in overtime against Dixie State.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Had nine goals and two assists in two years with the Mounties. Was a team Most Valuable Player as a freshman and a team captain and first-team All-Conference selection as a sophomore.

At Garey High School: Earned first-team All-League honors.

Personal: Daughter of Jose Gutierrez and Maria Ochoa. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family. Lists being present for the 1999 Women’s World Cup final as her most exciting experience in sports.
