Summary

Biography

2014: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in 11 games and played a total of 239 minutes. Had two assists for two points. Had assists on goals by Joanna Espinoza and Amalia Arviidsson in a 4-0 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 19. Played a season-high 47 minutes in a 5-0 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 3. For her career, appeared in 23 games and played a total of 484 minutes. Had one goal and two assists for four points.

2013: Continued to make a positive impact for the Golden Eagles. Appeared in five games and played a total of 60 minutes. Played a season-high 20 minutes in season-opening 4-0 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 8. Also played in games against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 29, at Sonoma State on Oct. 4, at Humboldt State on Oct. 6 and against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 11. Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award.

2012: Played well for the Golden Eagles in her first season on the field with the program. Appeared in nine games. Scored her lone goal for Cal State L.A. in a 4-3 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 19. Made her Cal State L.A. debut in a 4-1 win at Chico State on Sept. 7.

2011: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt.

At University of Massachusetts: Made her first college appearance against Temple on Oct. 22, 2010.

At Dracut High School: Four-year letterwinner in soccer and was the team captain as a senior. Led the Merrimack Valley Conference in scoring as a senior with 20 goals and 11 assists for 31 points. Helped Dracut to a conference title as a junior. Led the team in scoring three times and set a school record for goals in a season with 22. Earned All-State honors and was an Eastern Massachusetts Division II All-Star as a junior and senior. Was a three-time conference All-Star in 2006, 2008 and 2009 and was named the Dracut High School Soccer All-Sports Boosters MVP in 2009 and Rookie of the Year in 2006. Also competed in indoor and outdoor track and field and lacrosse in high school. Was a member of the National Honors Society.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Maria Zielinski. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys the violin, snowboarding and golf. Lists winning a national championship with her club team, Sachems FC, in the President’s Cup as her most exciting experience in sports.
