2018-19: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles and completed his Cal State LA career. Appeared in 28 games with one start. Played a total of 471 minutes. Averaged 5.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Scored a season-high 13 points in a California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament semi-final game against Cal Poly Pomona (3-8-19). Had a season-high five rebounds in five games, the final time in a CCAA Tournament first-round win at San Francisco State (3-5-19). Reached double figures in scoring three times. For his career, appeared in 58 games and 19 times. Played a total of 1,135 minutes. Averaged 5.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.

2017-18: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles last season and was a redshirt.

2016-17: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Was one of only three players to appear in all 30 games. Started 18 times. Averaged 5.5 points per contest. Had a season-high 14 points against Cal State East Bay (12-19-16). Also had 11 points against Sonoma State (12-3-16). Had eight points and a season-high eight rebounds against La Sierra (1-25-17).

At East Los Angeles College: Earned Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

At Alhambra High School: Earned Most Valuable Player honors.

Personal: Son of Vance Ford and Denise Mitchell. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys going to the beach and amusement parks. Lists going to the state championships in his first year of junior college as his most exciting experience in sports.
